	About/Additional Info:	The Sturtevant Transitional Facility (STF) is located on Rayne Road, between State Highways 20 and 11, which lies on the northwestern edge of the Village of Sturtevant in Racine County. Sturtevant is about twenty miles south of Milwaukee, four miles west of Racine, and nine miles northwest of Kenosha. Center grounds cover approximately 13 acres adjacent to Racine Correctional Institution (RCI). STF has a capacity of 304 adult male inmates in two units, a minimum-security unit (opened in December of 2003) and a medium-security unit (opened in May of 2004). The medium-security unit houses 147 inmates and is directly managed by RCI staff. The minimum-security unit houses 152 inmates with a focus on work/study release.
