	About/Additional Info:	The Marshall County Correctional Facility opened in June 1996 and is located on 42 acres with 17 acres fenced in. The authorized capacity is 1,000 beds for medium custody adult male inmates. The facility was previously under the operation of Management Training Corporation (MTC) since Aug. 13, 2012. The facility transitioned to state control on Sept. 13, 2021. The facility received accreditation from the American Correctional Association in January 1998. The facility was re-accredited in June 2000, September 2003, January 2007, January 2010, and March 2014.
