Parking: Parking is available in the rear of the building. You should not park in any areas designated as NO PARKING ZONES, as you may be towed. Jurors may proceed from the parking lot, around the building to the main entrance where there will be a uniformed officer to assist you. Jurors with physical disabilities may use the side entrance under the covered parking area and enter the elevator to the superior court which is located on the second floor.
Directions: From the north, take interstate 93 South to Exit 20. Turn left at off-ramp, onto Route 3/11 East. Make no turns and go past Lakes Region Factory Stores, Belknap Mall (do not take 3/11 Bypass). Continue for a total of 7.2 miles. Courthouse is an old brick building on your right, parking is in the rear. (If you arrive at the intersection of Route 3 and 106/107, you have gone ¼ block too far)From the south, there are two ways to travel: 1) take Interstate 93 North to Exit 20. Turn left at off-ramp, onto Route 3/11 East. Make no turns and go past the Lakes Region Factory Stores, Belknap Mall (do not take 3/11 Bypass). Continue for a total of 7.2 miles. Courthouse is an old brick building on your right, parking is in the rear. (If you arrive at the intersection of Route 3 and 106/107, you have gone ¼ block too far). 2) Take Interstate 93 North to I-393 East 4 miles. Take third exit (Route 106). Go left onto Route 106. Proceed 22 miles to intersection of Route 3/11 and Routes 106/107. Turn left at lights onto Route 3. Courthouse is an old brick building on your left, parking is in the rear. From Meredith, at the intersection of Parade Road (Route 106) and Route 3, proceed South on Route 106. Go straight at the lights at Meredith Center Road/Elm Street and Oak Street to downtown Laconia intersection. Turn right onto Church Street (106) just after railroad tracks. Road curves around to the left; turn right at next stoplight (Court Street). Courthouse is second building on the left. (Total of 8.5 miles from intersection of Route 3 and Parade Road –Route 106).From Gilmanton, proceed North on Route 107 into Laconia. At intersection of Routes 106/107 and Route 3, turn left onto Court Street (Route 3). Courthouse is second building on the left.From Alton, at the Junction of Routes 11 and 28A, proceed West on Route 11 for 14.8 miles. Immediately after overpass, go left following sign “Route 3 South/Route 11 West to 93” (known as Bypass). Go 5.9 miles to the end, turn right at lights onto Route 3. Proceed 1.1 miles. Courthouse is brick building on the right. If you arrive at the intersection of 3 and 106/107, you have gone ¼ block too far.From Keene, Claremont, and Lebanon, take the easiest route to Interstate 93. Take exit 20 and follow directions from North or South as indicated above.
Restrictions: There is a dress code for jurors. Do not wear torn clothing, shorts, cut-offs, tee shirts, tank tops or clothing with slogans or written expressions. Your clothes should be neat, clean and comfortable.
