	About/Additional Info:	Goose Creek Correctional Center is a combined sentenced and unsentenced medium-security classification facility with a total of 1535 beds. General housing totals 1280 beds, medical segregation has 16 beds, 55 beds for punitive segregation, as well as 56 beds for administrative segregation, and 125 beds for the special management unit. The facility consists of five buildings with a total of 435,000 square feet constructed on a cleared perimeter of 90 acres within a 330-acre site. Goose Creek Correctional Center employs a total of 333 staff members. These are comprised of Correctional Officers, Probation Officers, Administration, Food Service, and Maintenance personnel. Goose Creek Correctional Center also has a full complement of Medical staff.
