	Parking:	Jurors can park free in the Third Street Garage located at 115 West Third Street, Williamsport,PA 17701. When entering the garage, push the black button to receive a ticket. At this time, thegate will rise, allowing access to enter the garage. Limited space is available for oversized vehicles ina designated area on the first level of the garage.Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you when you come into the courthouse. You willreceive instructions regarding parking validation after you arrive. The Court is not responsible forparking violations if you choose to park in a place other than the designated garage.
	Directions:	The Lycoming County Courthouse is located at 48 West Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701,directly across the street from Julie’s Café and River Valley Transit Centre I. Please enter the Lycoming County Courthouse through the main entrance located on Fourth Street.As you enter the courthouse, you are required to go through security.Once you go through security, please take either the elevator or the stairs up to the second floor tothe jury room. As you enter the second floor, follow the hallway to your right-hand side. There will becourt staff to help direct you.

	About / Additional Info:	Common Pleas Courts are Pennsylvania’s courts of general trial jurisdiction. They have original jurisdiction over all cases not exclusively assigned to another court and appellate jurisdiction over judgments from the minor courts. They also hear appeals from certain state and most local government agencies.The courts are organized into 60 judicial districts which generally follow the geographic boundaries of the Commonwealth’s counties; however, seven of the districts are comprised of two counties. They are: Perry-Juniata, Snyder-Union, Franklin-Fulton, Wyoming-Sullivan, Columbia-Montour, Warren-Forest, and Elk-Cameron. Each district has from one to 93 judges.Each district also has a president judge to administer the affairs of the court. In districts with seven or fewer judges, the judge with the longest continuous service holds this position. In districts with eight or more judges, the president judge is elected to a five-year term by his or her peers.
