St. Croix County, a part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington Metropolitan Statistical Area was created in 1840. The county has a land area of 722.2 square miles and a population of 93,752 people as of 2022. Its county seat is Hudson. The court system in the county comprises the St. Croix County Circuit Court and the Municipal Courts.
