Hartford County, Connecticut
Established in 1666, Hartford County was one of the founding counties of Connecticut and covers 751 square miles of the state's north-central region. The county is also Connecticut's second-most populous county, with over 898,600 residents. Connecticut's capital city, Hartford, is the county seat.
