Pushmataha County is located in the southwestern part of the state. Its the seventh-largest county within the state of Oklahoma, with a land area of 1,395.5 square miles. The 2022 decennial census enumerated a population of 10,845 people living in the county. Part of the 2nd Congressional District, Antlers is the county seat and largest municipality within its limits.
