Rogers County, Oklahoma

Rogers County was formed on January 26, 1907 from the western saline district of the Cherokee nation. It was named Cooweescoowee county when it gained statewood. It is located in the Northeastern part of Oklahoma. With a population of 95,870, Rogers County stands as the sixth most populous county in Oklahoma. It was named for Clement Vann Roger and its county seat is Claremore. Municipal Courts (8) and one District Court make up the court system of Rogers County.
